2020 Super Baseball is a fast-paced action & adventure game for the Neo Geo AES console, released in 1993. The story takes place in a world where professional baseball has evolved into a sport designed by the Super Baseball Association. However, the association's control over the game has led to the players' rebellion, as they sought to play a fair game without the manipulation of the computer.
Players take on the role of one of 12 individual characters, including men, women, and robots, to compete in the game at Cyber Egg Stadium. The gameplay involves strategic decisions, such as selecting the right player and making team adjustments, all while avoiding being caught out by opponents. As players progress through the game, they can earn prizes and upgrades for their team.
