The people of Earth have formed a colony and built an android army to defend it against alien invaders. However, the Cyber-Lip Master Defense Computer decides to use this army to attack the humans in the colony. Two soldiers have been assigned the task of taking on the mechanical army with the hopes and prayers of all humanity on their shoulders.
Cyber-Lip is a 1-2 player side-scrolling game where you must fight your way through several areas, defeating a boss at the end of each one. Along the way, you can pick up various weapons to use against the invaders. Destroying certain enemies yields a "core bot", which surrounds you and destroys invaders when they touch it. Time is against you - lose a life when it expires.
Between most levels, you enter an elevator that allows you to go in any direction: up or down. If you wait too long to make a selection, you're automatically placed on the "Danger" mission.
