The 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic is celebrated with a replica that completes the maiden voyage interrupted by tragedy. However, one of the passengers discovers a note about a bomb hidden on the boat, and must search for clues to prevent another disaster.
Titanic Mystery is a hidden object game with adventure elements, where the goal is to find and click on items listed at the left side of the screen in various rooms and locations. The gameplay has three sections: finding identical items, searching for lists of objects, and collecting pieces of a special tool. The tool needs to be dragged and dropped into place to access mini-games.
The mini-games appear on a window at the center of the screen, where puzzles must be solved to complete scenes and progress. These include reassembling jigsaw puzzles, finding differences between images, decoding Morse code messages, and other activities. The player can skip these with a penalty, or use a hint button that shows the position of required items.
Extra buoys can be found on each location, with a maximum of 6 stored at any time. Completed puzzles can be replayed from the main menu. Titanic Mystery was released for the Nintendo DS in 2012.
