The Titanic Mystery game is based on the tragic events of the Titanic's maiden voyage. A replica of the ship has been launched to complete the journey, but one passenger discovers a note about a bomb hidden somewhere on board. The player must follow the clues left by the terrorist to find the device and prevent another tragedy.

The gameplay in Titanic Mystery involves searching for hidden objects in various locations around the ship. The main objective is to click on all the items listed at the side of the screen, which are scattered throughout different rooms and areas. Each location has three stages: finding identical items, searching for a list of objects, and collecting pieces of a special tool.

The tool can be dragged and dropped onto specific scenery to access mini-games. These puzzles must be solved to complete the scene and progress to the next one. The mini-games appear on a window at the center of the screen and include activities such as reassembling jigsaw puzzles, identifying differences between images, decoding Morse code messages, and more.

Players can skip mini-games with a penalty, while a hint button provides a pile of lifesavers to show the position of required items. Extra buoys can be found on each location, up to six at any time. Completed puzzles can be replayed from the main menu.
