Impossible Mission

The evil Professor Elvin Atombender has set a countdown for six hours to destroy strategic locations on Earth, and only one agent can stop him. The mission is to infiltrate his secret base, acquire nine passwords, and bring them to the Control Room in time to shut down the launch.

The player's goal is to gather broken-down password pieces hidden in various objects throughout the base, while avoiding Professor Atombender's army of robots. Each piece of a password must be collected within a limited time frame, as the clock ticks away. If a robot touches or shocks the agent, ten minutes are removed from the clock and the room is reset.

The Nintendo Switch version of Impossible Mission features improved graphics and gameplay compared to its 2007 release. The player can choose between three agents, each with the same abilities. Robots are color-coded according to their capabilities, making it easier to understand their behavior. Additionally, an easy mode has been added, offering a longer time limit and marking cleared rooms. Players can also opt for the original graphics, "mixed" mode with old avatar graphics, or an updated "mixed" mode that keeps graphical upgrades but makes all robots the same color.

Impossible Mission was released on Nintendo Switch on August 6th, 2019. The game is a simulation where players must navigate through Professor Atombender's base, solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles to complete the mission within the time limit.
