Babe and Friends is a GameBoy Color action & adventure game where you control Babe, a plucky little pig who was raised by sheepdogs. He believes himself to be a "sheep-pig" and herds sheep as his foster parents do.

The goal of the game is to drive the sheep forward towards the finish line in exaggerated, frictionless style with porcine barks until their movement is halted or altered when they intercept an obstacle. Babe is given hints and tips in these efforts by lovable characters from both of his feature films.
