Game Boy Compatibility
This Game Pak works on any Game Boy unit, including the Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket, Game Boy Color, and Super Game Boy.
The game will automatically display in color when played on a Game Boy Color system. No additional adjustments are needed. The game will not be in color on the Game Boy or Game Boy Pocket.

To skip the opening credits, press the B Button.
•
Select New Game by pressing the B Button.

Read the signposts for tips on how to play.
Controlling Babe
•
CONTROL PAD: Moves Babe in the direction the pad is pushed
•
SELECT: Resets the game to the last puzzle solved •
B BUTTON: Bark at the animals, read a signpost or turn objects
Gameplay Overview
Babe must help sheep and his friends by guiding them to safety. Safety zones are marked by flags. When Babe gets all the required animals past a flag, a message will appear on screen indicating the puzzle is solved. Signposts are placed along Babe's journey and contain useful tips.
Babe not only directs animals but also ensures they are not harmed. Use bales of hay to fill deep holes or place trampolines to help animals jump over obstacles. Babe must use his ingenuity to make the most of the items provided.
Each level has many different puzzles and obstacles. Puzzles must be solved in order, but Babe can roam freely about the map. The flags for the current puzzle are always waving. If Babe gets stuck or backs his friends into a corner, press Select and choose "restart puzzle." Everything in the puzzle will return to its initial state. This is very useful! Puzzle Obstacles

LOGS: Logs can only roll in one direction. Press the B Button to turn the log.
•
TRAMPOLINE: Babe can push trampolines. Animals will spring off them and over obstacles.
•
HAY: Babe can push bales of hay. Use them to stop animals, plug holes, and cross streams.
•
DIRECTIONAL FENCES: When Babe commands an animal into a direction fence, they will turn in the direction of the arrows.
•
FENCE PADS: When Babe pushes a heavy object onto the pad, it will push the pad down and unlock a gate.
