The FIFA 2000 series receives its only entry on the Game Boy Color, bringing soccer to a new generation of handheld gamers. The game is very similar to developer Tiertex' earlier entries in the series, with the same isometric graphics (updated for the GBC's capabilities) and many similar options and modes.
The gameplay is straightforward: control your team through exhibition, tournament, playoffs, and league modes, or try out the new indoor game mode. A quick start option allows for a fast game, while 63 teams are available to play with - including 62 national squads and the THQ Tornados all-star team.
