Peter Jackson's King Kong follows Jack Driscoll, scriptwriter, as he accompanies director Carl Dernham and actress Ann Darrow to Skull Island. The island is home to primeval creatures including giant insects, dinosaurs, and King Kong . The game is based on the 2005 remake of the film and lets players control Jack Driscoll and King Kong himself.
Peter Jackson's King Kong gameplay features HUDless FPS levels set on Skull Island, where Jack must use a variety of weapons, traps, and fire to kill or repel the island's fauna. In contrast, King Kong 's levels are third-person brawlers set on Skull Island and New York City, where he must puzzle his way through environmental obstacles and defeat opponents.
The PSP version is shorter than the console and PC releases, with some parts cut out.
