Final Fantasy Origins , released on 2003 , is a compilation that brings together two classic role-playing games from the Final Fantasy series.
The story of Final Fantasy Origins takes place in the fantasy world of Gaia, where players control four characters: Bartz Klauser, Lenna Charlotte Tycoon, Galuf Dollstein, and Faris Scherwiz. The group is on a quest to defeat the evil sorcerer Xande and save the world from destruction.
The gameplay of Final Fantasy Origins is traditional for an RPG: explore dungeons, fight enemies, collect items, and battle bosses. However, the game also features unique mechanics such as the "summon" system, which allows players to call upon powerful creatures to aid them in battle.
Final Fantasy Origins was developed by Square (now Square Enix) and is considered one of the earliest games in the Final Fantasy series.
