Player Manager 2000 is a football management game from the creators of the Kick Off series. The player can coach any team from England, Scotland, Italy, and Germany, with over 30,000 players to choose from. Tactical options are diverse and include both pre- and post-match analysis.
The game features a unique aspect where players can put themselves in the team. There are three ways to play the matches: commentary mode, scanner mode, and full 3D mode. Commentary mode works similarly to Championship Manager games, while scanner mode provides a top-down view of the match. The third option allows for immersive 3D gameplay, similar to FIFA.
