Altered Beast is a story-driven action & adventure game where the player takes on the role of Luke, an amnesiac who finds himself in Foret Town after his helicopter is attacked by a mysterious monster. As Luke, he must navigate through the town and uncover the truth about his past, all while fighting against hordes of monstrous creatures.
Gameplay-wise, Altered Beast focuses on action-packed combat and exploration. Players will need to upgrade their werewolf abilities by collecting DNA data from defeated enemies, allowing them to access new beast forms with unique powers. With each form comes new strengths and weaknesses, requiring strategic thinking and quick reflexes to overcome challenges.
Altered Beast was released on the PlayStation 2 in 2000.
