The Griffin family from Fox's animated TV series makes its way to video gaming for the first time. In this action-adventure game, players control Peter, Brian and Stewie through various goals and adventures.
In Family Guy , a satellite dish hits Peter on the head, causing him to wake up in a hospital with false memories that Mr. Belvedere kidnapped his family. Players must guide Peter through town, beating up anyone who gets in his path, while Brian tries to escape police custody and clear his name after being falsely accused of impregnating a prized racing dog.
Stewie's quest for revenge continues as he navigates a platformer action game with shooting elements to infiltrate the hospital and find his half-brother Bertram. Meanwhile, mini-games serve as segues that translate into challenges to complete successfully in order to earn power-ups for each mission.
The gameplay is divided among the three playable characters, offering a mix of side-scrolling beat-em-up fighting modes and stealth/espionage gameplay, with platformer action elements thrown in.
