Something is very wrong at Leafmore High . The entire school has turned dark and foreboding, strange sounds echo in the halls, and several people have mysteriously gone missing. One group of brave teens decides to find out what's going on... no matter what. They have no idea what kind of horrors have gripped the school and everyone in it. In the darkness, the evil has power... but add light and they can be defeated. Will they survive the night ahead?

In Obscure , you play through Solo Mode with 5 characters to choose from, each with their own personality, skills, and perspectives. You can switch between them at any time as long as they are still alive.

You can also select a second person to accompany you by going to a "gathering point" in the game. At any time during play, you can switch control between the first character and the second, giving you access to their special talents.

The gameplay involves collecting various items such as weapons, ammunition, and tools, like contact weapons, pistols, guns, and high-powered special weapons. Each gun or pistol has its own specific ammunition that cannot be swapped with others. You'll also gather first-aid kits, discs for saving games, keys, screwdrivers, and other objects needed to solve puzzles within the game.

Obscure was released on PlayStation 2 in October 2004.
