ProStroke Golf: World Tour 2007 is a golf simulation with a unique control scheme. The game performs in first person mode, where the player chooses the club and feet position before simulating the swing using both analog sticks. The left stick controls the swing, while the right stick moves the body weight in a back-and-forth motion.
The gameplay is accompanied by two main modes: traditional 3rd-person control scheme or gamepad-based first-person mode. In the latter, the player must use specific button combinations to determine the type of swing, precision, and strength. The career mode features a collection of tournaments, with the player's character improving in rank, affecting tournament conditions but not gameplay.
The game boasts nine licensed golfers, 18 courses (including two licensed), and three real-life golf commentators. Players can also build their own courses and tournaments using the editor.
