Street Dance is a game that uses the PS2 Dance Mat or the standard PS2 controller in a test of co-ordination and fitness. As is typical of this kind of game, arrows appear rhythmically on screen and the player must hit the corresponding button in time with these arrows and the music, points are awarded for accuracy.
The game has three difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, and Expert. The game also includes a workout mode that calculates calories burned based on the player's weight, as well as a 'recorder' mode where players can create their own dance routines.
For single-player games, points are awarded for accuracy, while in multiplayer mode up to eight players can play together using two Dance Mats .
