The Simpsons Road Rage is a racing game set in the world of The Simpsons. The story takes place after the episode "Treehouse of Horror XI", where Marge's birthday party has gotten out of hand, and the town of Springfield is plagued by traffic congestion. Krusty the Clown, who has lost his temper due to the party, decides to take revenge on the citizens of Springfield by turning their cars into raging monsters.
Gameplay involves racing through the streets of Springfield in a variety of vehicles, from cars to buses and even donuts. Players can also engage in "rage mode" attacks on other drivers, which adds an element of combat to the game. With over 30 tracks to explore and a range of playable characters, including Krusty and Sideshow Bob, The Simpsons Road Rage offers a fun and chaotic driving experience.
The Simpsons Road Rage was released for the PlayStation 2 console on November 24, 2000.
