WRC: Rally Evolved , the fifth game of the WRC series, is a rally racing game with various modes. The story revolves around competing in quick races, single rallies, and full championships. Additionally, players can participate in Rally Cross , where they race on a multi-lap track in solo or multiplayer modes. Players also have the chance to challenge the French world champion Sebastien Loeb in a series of timed races, starting with a handicap time.
The gameplay has been improved over previous versions, featuring enhanced voice acting for the navigator and new environmental hazards that affect the race, such as fire, rocks, animals, or other competitors. These hazards must be avoided to maintain speed and avoid penalties.
