F1 2012 is a Formula 1 racer based on the 2012 season. The game features all twelve teams and twenty-four drivers competing in the 2012 season, as well as the twenty circuits and Grands Prix—including the brand new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
The gameplay focuses on racing and career mode, with some new modes added such as Champions mode, Young Driver Test, and Season Challenge. Players can compete in a shorter, fast-paced career where they may frequently swap to a different car constructor by challenging rivals. The qualifying sessions have been modified, with the option for a One-shot Qualifying mode.
