The main difference between FIFA 14 on the PlayStation 4 and other versions is the new Ignite engine, which brings various AI and graphical improvements. These include new animations, more detailed faces, and a more immersive stadium atmosphere. Additionally, some game modes were removed from this version, such as Tournaments, FIFA Interactive World Cup, Be a Pro, Head to Head, and the Creation Centre.
The unique selling points of FIFA 14 remain its broad license package and extensive selection of playing modes. In addition to the usual leagues and matches, the game offers two unique modes: Ultimate Team, where players must assemble a team with good chemistry, and career mode, which includes features similar to soccer managers, such as scouting.
