The story of Mass Effect Andromeda takes place hundreds of years after the events of the original trilogy, where humanity has colonized other planets across the galaxy. You play as Sara, a human ranger, on the planet Talos IV, investigating the disappearance of your home planet's colonists.
Your journey begins on the planet, but soon you are forced to flee when hostile forces attack.
