The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt follows Geralt of Rivia as he reunites with Yennefer and embarks on a perilous journey to find their adopted daughter, Ciri. The Empire of Nilfgaard invades the Northern Kingdoms, drawing Geralt into a web of intrigue and danger. As he navigates this treacherous landscape, he must confront an ancient evil known as the Wild Hunt, which threatens to destroy everything in its path.
Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an action role-playing game that builds upon the gameplay mechanics of its predecessors. Players can explore a vast open world, completing quests and making moral choices that impact the story. The combat system has been refined to allow for smoother fighting against multiple opponents, while the addition of physical interactivity enables Geralt to interact with his environment in new ways.
The game features a dynamic world where Geralt can explore on foot or by horseback, and even engage in boat travel. Each area is larger than before, offering more opportunities for discovery and exploration. The day-night cycle and weather effects add to the immersion, while the ability to craft your own equipment allows for greater customization.
