The Toy Commander game takes you on an adventure through a three-dimensional world where toys come to life. The story follows a house with various rooms that serve as different gameplay areas. In this world, the player's goal is to stop an evil Teddy Bear known as the Toy Commander , who has led a rebellion of old toys against the new ones.

The gameplay in Toy Commander involves completing mission-based objectives, such as driving vehicles, flying helicopters, or racing against computer-controlled cars. The player must achieve these goals in as short a time as possible to complete each mission. With four missions completed, the player can face off against the boss character and eventually confront the Toy Commander in a final showdown.

The game also features a 4-player simultaneous deathmatch mode for those who want to compete with friends.

Toy Commander was released on the Sega Dreamcast on October 14, 1999.
