Earthworm Jim , released for the Sega Master System, follows the adventures of Jim, a worm who finds himself at the center of an intergalactic conflict. A crow is chasing him in outer space, while another, Psy-Crow, is after a stolen suit that can make its wearer more beautiful to Queen Slug-for-a-Butt. The suit lands on Earth, where Jim inadvertently becomes its owner and soon discovers he has control over it.
The game's objective is for the player to take control of Jim, navigating through 2D side-scrolling platformer levels with action elements.
