Space Harrier is a third-person rail shooter with pseudo-3D graphics, where you play as the lone titular hero fighting aliens with a fireball-launching cannon. The game features end of level bosses and requires you to use your wits to navigate around the screen while defending yourself against attacking aliens.
The game originated in the arcades and is set in the same world as the Fantasy Zone series . You control a hero who constantly moves, but can regulate his speed by the player. Armed with a big gun, you must defeat wave after wave of alien enemies while avoiding obstacles and bosses.
