Ecco The Dolphin

The storyline is more complex than it initially seems. As Ecco, you're the only dolphin who escaped a giant whirlpool that swallowed your pod. The five shining stars on your forehead mark you as the chosen one to save them. However, this task won't be easy, as you'll need to travel through time and space using the Atlantean time machine, meet the mystical Asterite, and defeat the Vortex Queen.

Keep an eye on Ecco's life and breath meters. Dolphins can't stay underwater for too long and need to surface for air. However, some caverns may have hidden pockets of air. Every time Ecco takes damage from spikes, lava, or enemies, its health will decrease, and if it reaches zero, you'll have to replay the level from the start. The life meter can be replenished by eating fish or finding healing clams called Shelled Ones.
