The game WWF Rage in the Cage is set in a world of professional wrestling, where players can choose from thirty unique WWF Superstars. Each character has their own strengths and weaknesses, as well as special moves that can be used to gain an advantage over opponents. Players must use strategy and skill to take down their foes and emerge victorious.
The gameplay is varied, with multiple modes available including single-falls matches, tag team bouts, six-man tag team events, battle royals, and the Steel Cage match. The game's engine is similar to that of WWF Royal Rumble , but with enhanced audio and graphics.
