Earthworm Jim 2 follows the story of an ordinary earthworm named Jim, who lives a mundane life until he is struck by a high-tech space suit. The suit transforms Jim into a powerful hero, giving him control over its advanced technology.
The gameplay of Earthworm Jim 2 is similar to the first game, with players controlling Jim as he runs and jumps through levels. The game features five new weapons to collect, in addition to returning characters like Princess What's-Her-Name and Psy-Crow.
