Agatha Christie: Evil Under the Sun

Players take on the role of Hercule Poirot, one of Agatha Christie's most famous detectives, in this adventure game. The story follows Poirot as he recounts his recent case to his colleague Hastings, which takes a dark turn when the body of actress Arlene Stuart is discovered on Seadrift Island.

Poirot must then investigate the murder and explore his surroundings, meeting and interrogating various characters along the way. The game features 20 or so suspects, each with their own story to tell. Players will need to use common sense and solve inventory-based puzzles to progress through the game.

The gameplay is presented in a 3rd person point-and-click perspective, using mouse controls to navigate the environment. With improvements made based on player feedback from previous Agatha Christie games, the graphics, character expressions, and background have been enhanced. A new feature, the "Finger of Suspicion" hint system, helps guide players through the game.
