Chess Crusade , released for the Wii console in 2008, is an action-packed adventure that combines the classic strategy of chess with medieval-themed combat. Players take on the role of a knight tasked with defeating the evil sorceress, Xylia, who has stolen the magical crystal that maintains balance and order in the kingdom.

Gameplay in Chess Crusade is fast-paced and intense, requiring players to think strategically about their chess pieces' movements while also navigating the on-screen battlefield. With a variety of characters to unlock and upgrade, as well as multiple levels set across different medieval-inspired environments, fans of action-adventure games will find plenty to enjoy in this Wii exclusive.
