Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll

The game features three main modes: single-player, co-operative mode, and multi-player mode. In single-player mode, players progress through themed worlds, completing levels to unlock the credits. Co-operative mode allows two players to work together, using one Wii Remote and one Balance Board, while multi-player mode supports up to four players in split-screen view. A "Marathon" mode challenges players to complete levels without dying, and minigames can be played with 1-4 players.

The game is accompanied by various indicators displayed on screen, including the speed meter, lives, bananas gathered, current score, timer, and stage names. Stages also feature bonus stages with extra rewards. The scoring system values speed, with points awarded for time left, stage number, and clear scores for each level.
