Persona 4 Arena is a fighting game based on the popular social simulation role-playing game series Persona . The story takes place after the events of Persona 4 , where the protagonist and their friends are once again threatened by a mysterious force known as the "Midchilda". The player controls various characters from the series, including the Phantom Thieves, as they battle against powerful enemies and uncover the secrets behind the Midchilda.
