Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is set in a fictional world where the protagonist, Venom Snake , emerges from the shadows as Big Boss's successor. As Venom Snake, you must guide your new unit of special operatives and strike fear into the hearts of enemies across the globe.

The gameplay is fast-paced action-adventure that involves stealth, strategy, and combat. You'll control Venom Snake as he infiltrates enemy bases, completes objectives, and battles against rival soldiers in an open-world environment. The game features a unique "CQC" (Close Quarters Combat) system, allowing for intense hand-to-hand combat.
