Smash Court Tennis 3 is the sequel to Smash Court Tennis Pro Tournament 2 from the PS2 and the first for the PSP franchise. Players can take control of 16 of the world's ranked and upcoming stars of tennis, including Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Justine Henin, and Anna Kournikova to name a few. There are also various customizable items, from what their players wear and including what equipment they use during a match.
There are several modes to choose from, including Exhibition, Tutorial, and minigames that involve tennis bombs and a tennis-themed version of Pac-Man. The Pro Tour Mode allows players to compete to become #1 in the world of tennis, acquiring new skills during games, using experience points to make their player stronger, and training before matches.
Multiplayer capability is available through Ad-Hoc, where players can view their ranking against other players. Players can also play against a friend head-to-head using a single UMD in head-to-head games as well as minigames.
Smash Court Tennis 3 was released on 2007-07-16 for the PSP console, offering an exciting tennis experience for players of all ages.
