Interactive CD Sampler Disk Volume 9 was a showcase for the latest interactive technology on the PlayStation. In 1973, players were transported to a series of different environments, each with its own unique gameplay mechanics.
The gameplay itself consisted of navigating through a range of interactive sequences, including puzzles and mini-games. The Interactive CD Sampler Disk Volume 9 was designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the PlayStation's CD-ROM technology, and it did so by showcasing a variety of different styles and genres.
