Silverload is set in an abandoned mining town, where a series of disasters has led to its downfall. The town's decline is shrouded in mystery, with some attributing it to an Indian curse due to the mine being built on sacred land. As a bounty hunter, you're hired by the townspeople to find one of their children who they claim was taken by "the monsters of Silverload". Your journey will uncover the town's dark secrets if you survive long enough.

The gameplay in Silverload is a mix of 3rd person point and click adventure elements, with occasional arcade sequences. You'll need to navigate the environment, solve puzzles, and fight off enemies in gunfights to progress through the game. With its inventory-based system, you'll have to manage your items carefully to overcome obstacles and stay one step ahead of "the monsters".
