IGPX is set in 2049, where combat racing has become the most popular sport in the world. Teams of robots, called IG Machines, compete at speeds over 350mph on tracks up to 60 miles long. The goal is simple: be the first to cross the finish line.
The game IGPX combines elements of fighting and racing, where your team's robots will clash as you try to outmaneuver them to the finish line. You can switch between each pilot on your team and issue orders to help you gain an advantage.
The game features multiple Grand Prix levels to complete, as well as a two-player versus mode and a training mode to hone your skills.
PLAYSTATION 2, released in 2006 , is the platform on which IGPX was developed.
