You play as either Sarah Harding , an anthropologist, or Roland Tembo , lead hunter of the InGen team, in this movie-inspired game.
In Lost World: Jurassic Park , you must travel to six Nest Areas to retrieve eggs using Game Trails. On the Game Trails, you drive and avoid dinosaurs and other obstacles that could damage your vehicle. While in the Nest Area, you search for the eggs. You are given Tranquilizer Darts and different items depending on who you play as: Sarah Harding uses Flares, while Roland Tembo has a Sonic Screamer Device to scare off dinosaurs.
The game has three difficulty settings, with harder settings making the dinosaurs more aggressive. After completing each level, you receive a password to return to that level if needed.
