Need for Speed Deluxe Edition is a racing game set in an open world. The story follows Alex Hammond, a young car enthusiast who returns to his hometown of Rockport to participate in the annual street race. However, he soon discovers that his town has been taken over by corrupt politicians and businessmen, and he must team up with other racers to take them down.
Gameplay involves completing various racing challenges and missions, as well as exploring the open world on foot or in a variety of vehicles. Players can collect and upgrade their cars, unlock new ones, and participate in online multiplayer events. The game's engine is built on the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine (RAGE), allowing for detailed graphics and realistic physics.
