Steins;Gate Elite is a visual novel that follows the story of Rintaro Okabe, a self-proclaimed mad scientist who discovers a way to send text messages to the past. After finding an old email from his father in the year 2011 , Okabe creates a device called the "D-Mail," which allows him to send messages to his 15-year-old self in the past.
Okabe's actions set off a chain of events that draws him into a world of time travel and conspiracies. As he tries to fix past mistakes, he must navigate the consequences of altering the timeline and confront the darkness of human nature.
The gameplay in Steins;Gate Elite is centered around making choices that affect the story's progression. Players are presented with multiple endings, each dependent on their decisions throughout the game.
