The year 1994 saw the release of Novastorm , a Sega CD exclusive that brought a unique blend of action and storytelling to the table. In this game, humans had long since left Earth in search of a new home, but their journey was cut short when the mysterious Scarab-X forces launched a surprise attack.

Novastorm is a rail shooter that takes place against a cinematic backdrop, where players must blast enemies before they can take over the world. One of the standout features of this game is its use of pre-rendered obstacles, which can be avoided or collided with by the player-controlled fighter, resulting in damage to their ship.

Novastorm offers an engaging gameplay experience that combines fast-paced action with strategic thinking. With a focus on shooting down enemies and navigating through treacherous terrain, players must stay sharp to succeed in this challenging shooter.
