Wolfchild , released on the Sega CD in December 1992, is an action-packed adventure game that follows Saul, the son of Dr. Kal Morrow, as he seeks revenge for his family's brutal murder by the terrorist organization CHIMERA. Dr. Morrow was kidnapped and murdered, leaving Saul to avenge his loved ones using his father's research on human-animal hybrids.

As Saul navigates through five different areas, he must collect power-ups to unlock his wolf form, granting him enhanced abilities such as a psychic shot attack that can be improved further. However, losing health forces him back into his human form, leaving him vulnerable with only his fists to defend himself against the numerous enemies.
