Part of the Shining universe, Shining the Holy Ark is a console-style RPG. You play as Arthur, a young swordsman who works as a mercenary. On his first mission, he's sent to a mine to catch a renegade ninja who escaped from the King of Enrich. But an accident changes everything, and Arthur discovers there's a greater evil that must be defeated.

The game features 3D graphics with a first-person perspective in dungeons and battles. The turn-based battles are traditional Japanese-style, with a new "Pixie System" added to the mix. In some areas, you can find pixies who become allies in battle.
