Baroque , a post-apocalyptic RPG game, is set in a world that has been devastated by a heat wave. The game begins with you playing as an amnesiac survivor who enters a mysterious "Nerve Tower" in search of clues about the apocalypse and your own identity.
The gameplay involves controlling your character as you navigate through floors in the tower, clearing them from monsters and earning experience and items. You will occasionally journey outside the tower to obtain weapons and equipment from NPCs.
The Baroque game features a polygonal engine, an update from the original's 2D sprites. The point of view has also been changed from first person to third person, and the gameplay has been modified to make it more action-RPG oriented.
Baroque was released on Wii in 2008.
