Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is an update of Ninja Gaiden 3 . It includes all the downloadable content made available on other platforms as well as some new changes. A new playable character, Ayane from the Dead or Alive series, has her own story mode chapters. An online co-operative mode has been added where both Ryu and Ayane are playable.
The gameplay involves action-packed adventures with a mix of combat and exploration. The Wii U Game Pad is used for tasks like executing Ninpo, displaying combo charts, and controlling certain aspects of the game. The Karma system allows players to upgrade weapons, Ninpo, character health, and move sets.
