The game features a career mode that takes the player around the world, competing in various tournaments and games to earn money and improve ranking. The ultimate goal is to rise from rank 100 to number one.

Players can improve four different statistics: serve, backhand, forehand, and volley. A higher skill level results in better serves, more accurate shots, and longer volleys. Special skills, such as risk and ace, also become available.

In Exhibition mode, players can choose from created characters or real-life pros like Pete Sampras or Anna Kournikova to play a match.
