Spiderman: Edge of Time is an action-adventure game that follows the story of Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus as they team up to stop a threat from their past. The villainous villain, Doctor Octopus's creator Norman Osborn, has managed to combine with the Green Goblin, creating an evil version of himself known as "Otto". As Otto threatens the world, Spider-Man must join forces with his nemesis-turned-ally to defeat him.

The gameplay in Spiderman: Edge of Time is fast-paced and action-packed. Players control both Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus as they navigate through levels set across different parts of New York City. The game features a variety of combat moves and abilities for each character, requiring players to switch between them on the fly to take down enemies.
