Silent Service is a simulation game that takes place during World War II, where you play as a submarine commander. The US Navy has suffered significant losses after an attack at Pearl Harbor, and it's up to you to turn the tide of war.
The gameplay involves navigating your submarine through the Pacific Ocean, managing speed, direction, and depth while avoiding enemy ships and torpedoes. You'll have access to nine different types of submarines, ten types of torpedoes, and a range of Japanese surface ships to engage with, including warships and transports.
The game features seven realistic missions that recreate real US Navy engagements during the war, including the famous battle against the Yamato. Can you successfully sink this powerful Japanese battleship and emerge victorious?
