Tropical Trouble

Clumsy Clarence is on vacation with his girlfriend Doris on a tropical island, but their fun is ruined when she's kidnapped by the bully Beach Bruiser. Now, Clarence must rescue Doris by chasing after her as the screen scrolls to follow.

Beach Bruiser carries Doris to the right, and the screen moves accordingly. Your goal is to guide Clarence and catch up to Doris while navigating through obstacles like coconuts, ferns, clams, sand snakes, and lava. If Clarence gets stuck too long on the left side of the screen, he loses a life.

Doris will occasionally drop a handkerchief; collect it, and Clarence becomes temporarily invincible. Catching Doris allows you to progress to the next section of the island. Once each section is completed, you'll face off against Beach Bruiser on a bridge. Beat him, and the game repeats at a more challenging skill level.
