Gundam Battle Universe is a third-person action game that puts you in control of various Mobile Suits and Mobile Armours from the Universal Century timeline of the Gundam media franchise. The game features both instant action modes and a campaign mode, as well as over 200 different Mobile Suits and Mobile Armours controllable by the player.
The Gundam Battle Universe campaign lets you create a character, assign them factions, and use them throughout several different eras of the Universal Century. As your pilot levels up and earns points, you can upgrade your vehicles' performance.
Gundam Battle Universe also supports local co-op multiplayer for two players using the PSP's adhoc function, as well as regular player-versus-player multiplayer options.
Gundam Battle Universe was released on 17 July 2008 for the PlayStation Portable (PSP).
